# API references

Choose the Demand API version or collection used by your integration.

* Each stable version has its own API contract.
* Beta is an independent collection for capabilities that are still in development.

See the [Demand API versioning strategy](/demand/docs/whats-new/versioning-strategy) for more details.

## Beta Beta

Beta is an independent API collection for capabilities that are not yet available in a stable version. Its endpoints use dedicated `/beta` paths and are not tied to a numbered stable release.

Beta API considerations
* Beta request and response structures may change, including through breaking changes.
* A capability may be promoted to a stable version while other Beta capabilities remain in development.
* A promoted capability is retired from Beta three months after its stable release is announced in the monthly changelog.
